We know that supporting individuals through the crisis of domestic abuse and onto recover from their experiences requires the involvement of a wide-range of services and professionals.
We also know that the issues surrounding an individual experiencing domestic abuse can be complex and it can be confusing to know the best way to support them.
Our trained specialist staff can offer unique insights and expertise in managing the impact of domestic abuse. We are keen to ensure that we share this learning and development with partner professionals and organisations to grow the number of individuals who are able to spot the signs of domestic abuse and feel confident to have that first conversation.
We are keen that anyone who works with an individual or family that is experiencing domestic abuse has the ability to recognise abuse, the confidence and skills to be able to respond appropriately, and the knowledge about where to refer them for specialist domestic abuse support.
That is why we believe that offering formal training and informal learning and development opportunities is so important.
At Next Chapter we offer a range of training and learning opportunities for our partner organisations and can work with you to decide what you need and how you would like it delivered.
We are also working on a range of formal accredited training which will be available very soon.
If you are interested in speaking to us about any training or learning needs you may have then please email info@thenextchapter.org.uk and we will ensure that the most appropriate person responds to discuss how we can help.
