In Refuge

We are committed to providing safe and accessible accommodations for all women and children who seek refuge from domestic abuse. We understand the diverse needs of our clients, including those with disabilities, and have designed our spaces to ensure comfort and independence.

Our refuge locations offers ground-floor rooms with various configurations to meet the needs of our residents. We have rooms for single women, a family room that can accommodate a mother and two to three children, and a specially designed room for wheelchair users. The wheelchair-accessible room features an open-plan kitchen and lounge area, with low-level cooking facilities and a wet room, allowing for independent living. The front entrance of the building is equipped with a concrete ramp for easy access, and the family room has a ramp leading to the garden.

At our recovery refuge, we provide two ground-floor rooms that can accommodate clients with disabilities. We also have a bungalow designed for clients with low-level support needs.

We strive to make our refuges as inclusive as possible, ensuring that all women and children have access to the support they need in a space that is both safe and accessible.
